One of the trees of the year for 2023 is the Bolusanthus Speciousus
or commonly known as the Tree Wisteria.
The Society of Municipal Arbonists has named the Jacaranda (Jacaranda Mimosifolia)
as its 2023 Urban Tree of the Year. There are concerns about the Jacaranda as an
invasive plant but the municipalities have had to strike a balance between these
concerns and the powerful public affinity for these beautiful trees.
We at Izibead, love the beauty and joy the Jacaranda gives during the flowering season
and so to this end we are standing with the municipal arbonists and our tree of the
year is the Jacaranda. The beading exercise is not difficult and the end product
is magnificant. We have included a mirror board for the trees to stand on as the
Jacaranda is as well known for its beautiful carpet of purple flowers as it is for the
covering of flowers. The mirror image reflects the flowers creating the carpet the tree
is famous for.OR you could make the identical tree and call it the Tree Wisteria.
